Rita Turner Named Patriot Bank Employee of the Year for 2010!

Rita Turner, Post Closing Specialist for Patriot Bank Mortgage, has been named Employee of the Year for 2010.  Rita was selected as Employee of the Quarter for the Second Quarter 2010.  She was nominated for Employee of the Quarter by Keith Barger, Executive Vice President of Patriot Bank and Patriot Bank Mortgage.  Upon her selection as Employee of the Year, Barger stated that while all Patriot Bank employees made contributions to the bank in 2010, Rita stood out for her willingness to wear as many hats as needed.  In an especially busy year for the Mortgage Division, Rita helped the department keep the work flow running smoothly and performed many duties in addition to her post closing work, including everything from managing construction loans to preparing final loan documents and quality control audits.
Rita has been in banking since 1980 and joined Patriot Bank in 2006 as a mortgage closer.  A Memphis native, Rita and her family live in Bartlett.

Leslie Simpson

Patriot Bank has announced that Leslie Simpson has been named Employee of the Quarter for the Fourth Quarter of 2010.   Leslie is a Loan Operations Specialist and has worked in the Loan Operations Department of Patriot Bank since June 2008.  She was nominated by Lori Johnson, Vice President and Corporate Compliance and Security Officer, who stated that Leslie lives up to the P.A.T.R.I.O.T acronym every day.  She does an exceptional job performing her work duties which include loading loans, checking maintenance for changes on loans, processing post closing documents and processing paid out loans.  In addition, to her outstanding performance, Leslie is always upbeat and willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done.  She is a team player and pitches in on projects and new responsibilities that are assigned to the department.  Leslie’s personality and sense of humor keep the loan operations department and enjoyable place to work.  Leslie and her family live in Covington.

Ruby Petties                                                                   

Patriot Bank has announced that Ruby Petties has been named Employee of the Quarter for the Third Quarter of 2010.  Ruby (pictured above) was nominated for the award by Patriot Bank Barretville Vice President Denna Krosp.  Ruby has been a part of the Patriot family for over three years and is responsible for the cleaning of the Barretville, South Tipton and Millington branches. She also prepares wonderful meals for the bank's monthly director and manager meetings. Ruby also goes above and beyond to help out with community events sponsored by Patriot Bank, such as special meetings, grand openings and AARP Senior Safety classes.

Tonya JonesRita Turner

 
Patriot Bank has announced that Tonya Jones and Rita Turner have been named Employees of the Quarter for the Second Quarter of 2010.  Tonya Jones was nominated for Employee of the Quarter by Denna Krosp, Vice President and branch manager at Patriot Bank Barretville, where Tonya is Head Teller.  According to Denna Krosp, Tonya was selected as Employee of the Quarter (Customer Service) because she has all the attributes of the P.A.T.R.I.O.T acronym.  She is a very good teller and knowledgeable about her job but she still is interested in learning new procedures.  She has a professional work ethic and is always willing to take on extra tasks and do any job that needs to be done. Tonya joined Patriot Bank in 2008 with 11 years experience in the local banking community.  She is a graduate of Munford High and a lifelong resident of Tipton County, where she currently resides with her family.
Rita Turner was nominated for Employee of the Quarter (Administrative or Operations) by Keith Barger, Executive Vice President of Patriot Bank and Patriot Bank Mortgage.  Rita currently serves as the Post Closing Specialist for Patriot Bank Mortgage but according the Barger, Rita wears many hats in the mortgage division.  She keeps the work flow running smoothly and performs many duties in addition to her post closing work, including helping with everything from managing construction loans to working on final loan documents to preparing our quality control audits.  Rita has been in banking since 1980 and joined Patriot Bank in 2006 as a mortgage closer.  A Memphis native, Rita and her family live in Bartlett.

Melissa Hicks

Patriot Bank has announced that Melissa Hicks has been named Employee of the Quarter for the First Quarter of 2010.  Melissa was nominated by Melba Howard, her manager at Patriot Bank Covington South, where Melissa is the drive-through teller.  According to Melba Howard, Melissa was selected as Employee of the Quarter because she has all the attributes of the P.A.T.R.I.O.T acronym.   As Covington South’s drive-through teller, Melissa handles a majority of the Covington South transaction volume with great ability.  She is knowledgeable, courteous and very competent.  She is always looking to contribute and has taken on the added responsibility of learning to open accounts and serve as a back-up customer service representative. Melissa joined Patriot Bank in 2005 and worked as a teller at Patriot Bank Millington before moving to Covington South when that location opened in September 2007.  Melissa and her family live in Covington.
